Our Mission
ARTISTS THAT TAKE ACTION.
In an industry often defined by auditions, competition, and waiting, we believe the most meaningful work begins when artists choose to create rather than wait to be chosen.
Sticking Place exists so artists create.
NOT SO THEY WAIT.

WE CREATE
We believe
theatre should
matter to
everyone again.
Speaking only to theatre people isn’t enough. Theatre belongs beyond the walls of the theatre—in our communities, in our conversations, in our lives.
Bold new work
that illuminates the gray areas of the
human experience.
Reimagined classics
returned to with urgency and a curious eye.
Hard questions
that linger long after the curtain falls.
Genuine Dialogue
that sparks new perspectives.
Collaborative art
rooted in South Florida and reaching far beyond.

We faile?
But screw your courage to the sticking place,
And wee'le not fayle
- LADY MACBETH
MACBETH
Our name comes from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, where the “sticking place” is the point at which resolve becomes action. Similarly for us, it's the moment before potential becomes creation—the place where courage overcomes hesitation, ideas become collaborations, and artists commit to making work that leaves a lasting mark on both their community and the world.
